My friend suggested it or should I say she called me it one day as a throw away comment. It's a twist on my real name so you could probably guess what it is.

Silly as it might sound, my favorite Dungeons and Dragons® character I created and played was named Thalia Olafsdotter. She was partially based, well her look, on a girl I knew in high school. Nicole, to me sounded good with Thalia.

Very boring story mine. I just liked the idea of a double-barrell first name, like Bobby-Jean, Mary-Ann etc, and my neighbour's daughter is called Stacey. Liked that as a first name --- always thought it sounded very sexy --- and I guess the other just sort of rolled off the tongue well, so that's how my name came about. The surname? Not sure, just a Scottish-sounding one seemed like it might be nice, as I'm Irish...

the name collette is the fem for colin, which both are a diminutive of nicholas, and as my name is colin, i decided on the fem [collette] as my fem name, and is greek in origin, so now you know as much as i do, lol.

" See! How she leans her cheek upon her hand:
    O ! that I were a glove upon that hand :
That I might touch that cheek ."

I had a friend, now deceased, a well known and respected Rock Musician who named his son ...... Romeo. When I asked him why he chose that name, he replied, ... " He'll learn how to fight, ... and he'll learn how to fuck ! " ... fair enough, I thought ! Good choice !! ha ha!

nicky XXX to jallie and April Mae ....

Nickyyyy muaaaaahhh- yes the power of the name when thought through like that. Few people think clearly about the name implications with their kids. Those are two very good reasons indeed lol!!!
