Try this site which has videos on make up techniques and hair styles. It alos sells cosmetics, though you can get them cheaper in other places. I am sure there are other sites out there that offer help, but this should start ithe forum and hopefully be of help.

feelgoodessentials.co.uk --- to get to videos click on Voluptous Curls video, this gives you access to the make up and other videos

Good option - sad I know but finances forced me to get 5 pairs of shoes from Matalan- all somehow size8, I am not saying they fit like a glove but do women ever place a premium on comfort fitting ??? the bonus here is that they were < £5.00 per pair

Matalan has proved a good place for me for shoes. I am a 9, but can fit a stretchy 8 occasionally, as I did with my thigh boots seen on 'Lady in Red' Album selling for just £14 just after Xmas at Matalan. Priceless can be good as you can get occasional size 9s and Choice (Next clearance shop0 are often worth a look.

as kooky as it sounds, the porn star Asia Carrera has a primer on make-up on her web-site. I like it as it gives a bit of glamour, and it is very adjustable

Not sure if this should be under make up tips, as its wigs. I needed some advice on how to prevent my wig slipping (as I had a new man friend taking me out for dinner). Ended up buying a new wig liner and double sided tape from Pauls Hair & Beauty World ( Oldham Street M/C - so near to the Village).
This street has FOUR wig shops within about 100 yards, and Pauls was the largest and staff were very pro T girl. Prices range from around £20 for synthetic wigs and £35 for hair wigs; they also have full range of accessories.
They have branches in Liverpool + Leeds too

I get my wigs from http://www.annabelleswigs.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&zenid=5clkmqq8juj7b82bupaov469a3
They are relatively cheap at just over £20 or so for a long wig. I then wear a wig (there are two favourites I always buy) for a while and when it gets either too grubby or tangled I just replace them. I used to by wigs at £150 a pop but I prefer these cheaper ones and I actually get more wear from them....the expensive wigs never seemed to look that great after washing!

Bought my hair from Suzi's Wigs at the Lakeside shopping center at Thurrock, had it something like 8 years now, washed regular and abused more times than i care to remember. The shop had hundreds of wigs when i visited in 2003, not much choice online though.

I buy my conditioner and shampoo locally and cheap and they have a website too with a nice selection of wigs as well as accessories.

Have thought about getting a wig from Annabelles, quite fond of this one
