When I went for my first make-over, they asked me for my femme name. At that moment I made this one up. It works for me!

Being 7 feet 1 inches tall, i was always center of attention. This name justifies my aerial dominance lol. My real name is...umm...well.....never mind.

I never really had a name at first but toyed with the name Phoebe but then decided on Ellen. After a while I felt that the name Ellen was a little too sensible and sort of gave me the impression that Looking at photos of me as Ellen put years on me and reminded me of my mother . So one day I was sitting there and there was a tv drama on and in it appeared a girl who was Identified as Nula, I was blown away by the name so decided to use it. The Camelleon bit of course is just a stage name because some time ago(before I was on Transtastic ) I was on another Site as Ellen, I put my name into Google one day and was shocked to see my profile pic from the other site appear which is why I use a stage name, not that I think that Transtastic images can be found on other search engines because they can't, I know,I've tried it x

My family name is "Milton-White", hence my surname choice of "White". My mother's name is "May", so, being a rebel, I chose "Mae" as my second name. I'm not sure where "Julia" came from; my first choice was "Helena", a conversion to Greek of my born first name, Alan.

But I'm happy with all my names. Julia Mae White is my preferred name x.

Melissa is what my parents were going to call me if I was born a girl, the J is the start of my real surname and the Quinn comes for the nutcase Harley Quinn from Batman as I am a bit of an odd one myself

I think my first crush was for one of Dr Who's first female companions - Zoe. Early 60s mini skirt dark hair fringed and bob look and she had a lovely innocent face and personality.
It also has a shortness that fits with my own male name.
As for my second/surname - that has changed and varies. Originally the letters had to fit with a company I used for postal stuff. It adapted to Feelgood which obviously has conotations. But it now reflects where I am!

For me, it was originally the Beatles song of the same name. The 'ocean child' reference was appealing. After using the name Julia at a number of local social events, someone asked what my second name was and I just said it, Dream, as in Julia Dream the Pink Floyd song. So it was a momentary decision. Can't believe I hadn't thought of it earlier.

I got my name from my first lover, he just said i cannot call you by your first name when we are making love, and i was always a girl in his eyes, so he came up with Susie, apparently a girl he fancied when he was at school, but had no chance of getting into her knickers, unlike me he said!!!!!!!!!!!!! which was probably very true x

I picked my first name from a bottle of coke whilst shopping, and was stuck for a second name until my wife suggested picking my favourite photographer. Jenny Carlos Clarke sounded a bit of a mouthful so I picked my second fave

My alter ego's name is taken from War and Peace, but I changed the Y to a J, just because I like it that way. I chose it because I loved the name and kind of fell in love with her character in the book. The surname is just random really. Very English I suppose.

hmmm ok I know what u mean by alter-ego but I cant identify with it eg I dont have 1 I just have me and the fracture that led to me having 2 identities by reason of necessity.

Forgetting that and to answer the Q truthfully Id have to say my parents gave me it when I was too young to point out their error.

To correct this, well... Ive just always been Sami/Samantha in my head for so long I cant say where that came from it jus always was natural for me. I have recently adopted Aarons though and I can say where that came from - I have a deep fascination with San Francisco so I brought up a list of SF surnames and there at the top was 'Aarons' and I fell in love with it there and then, I like the fit lol

Lynnea was in my personal mythos since 1974. After the latest dating disaster I looked upon all the women I tried dating. I noticed a commonality: every one of them had "Lynn" for a middle name: Joyce Lynn, Debbie Lynn, Judy Lynn, Sally Lynn, etc. I thought it strange, even archetypal. And being a Latin student, I asked myself, "Ubi est Lynn ea?" (Where is she who is Lynn?" Eventually I realized that "She who is Lynn" (Lynnea) was the woman inside trying to get out. So when it became necessary to select a femme name, I almost chose Krystl, but Lynnea was what I needed to acknowledge.

I selected "Urania" (Greek= "of Heaven"for my middle name when it came time to do a legal name change. I took it in remembrance of my Patron Goddess, Isis Urania. So in some groups I appear as "Lynnea of Heaven."

There is also an intended peculiarity when integrating with my surname. The first, middle, and last names all have 6 letters each to make a visual "666". This was done intentionally to protest the ridiculous idea that God made evil numbers. And since the number derives from the Kamea of the Sun it made sense as a Geminian to select something numerically associated with the Summer Solstice.

When I returned to the frocks in earnest last year, there were two things set in concrete before I started. Firstly, I knew I wanted to be a redhead and secondly I wanted to be Siobhan - I've always really liked the name and it has no emotional baggage attached. As for 'Hapgood', every day I walk through an estate where the roads are named after sporting heroes of the past. Eddie Hapgood played for Arsenal in the 1930's and by all accounts was a gifted player who got a bum deal in a number of ways - although I don't follow football, I sort of identified with that. So that's me....

Growing up there was this really bitchy girl, kinda like Angelica (from rugrats if you know it), that I looked up to and had a huge crush on, and actually liked that she was so cold to everyone.

Now I realize, looking back, she was teased a lot by boys for being unrealistically attractive at her age, so she had to be tough.

My wife came up with mine, mainly because of my 30 plus collection of shoes and boots. The J comes from Jones, just makes it sound a bit better. It was a great choice by her, I think it suits me and we lots like it.

My "alter ego" name is my 1st ex wifes name, christian name and surname plus my eldest sister's name (middle name) as it was her clothes I first started wearing, years, years and years ago! So Hi I am Heather Jennifer Martin

Susan is my fourth name and probably the one I'm most happy with

First name - tribute to one of my first and quite possibly only woman i have ever been truly in love with.
Surname - Hotel chain i was staying in at the time of my first proper shag!

Tamara is a jumble of my birth name. Nitram and Ramtin didn't sound quite right, Tamara came up and the more I bounced it in my head, the better and more apt it sounded.

the "maryanne" came from an old leonard cohen song "so long maryanne" when i went back to boy mode....the talmage came from the talmadge sisters (silent movie stars)....they were quite pretty in the 20s...mind you so was I....lol
