I agree with 90% but think it is going too far to say you have to have a face shot .. if I want to be one of Henry VIII's wives why shouldnt I be. I t is one thing stopping things that might cause offence in the public domain but quite another telling others what pics they have to have. Thats my pennies worth anyhow.

It would be neither fair nor realistic to insist on any member having to have a face shot, main picture or otherwise. There must be many admireres who wish to keep there true identity a secret. I think the issue is between what can and cannot be described as potentially offensive. Dick and arse shots are out, along with anything that could be generally considered crude, vulgar, or overty suggestive. A dick, vaguely hidden behind a pair of the wifes flimsy panties is still a dick shot ! A scantilly clad figure, not displaying an obvious 'bulge', may well be 'respectable', albiet seductive, and why not ? after all, it is an 'adult' site. Let's just make it, and keep it, a 'clean' site - if anyone is looking for salacious or tasteless content, there's plenty of that on Chix !

I was the one who raised the issue of Henry VIIIs headless wives, not the "deleted member" - pse read my post where I explicitly state that I have NO issue with privacy. However, no 1/2 way intelligent person who wishes to retain privacy and chat with anyone here can expect to chat very much, if they bhave no face pic. As to meeting them......how......I wouldnt know what they look like (smile). I agree totally with April-Mae on Headless Huntsmen...for me its simple - no face pic, no contact.
As to "adult" pix I think the suggestions put in place now by Becca cover most people's concerns about adult shots on profiles. But I do think we need to be careful that the "puritan police" dont turn this new site into something bland. Its easy to go to Birch Place or TVchix for raunchy shots, though lots of people there are TWs (Time Wasters)...the downside of all adult sites. This is a new site, so we have the opportunity to be in the middle where we can appeal to a broader audience than TINT, without (hopefully) the downsides of the raunchier sites. hugs P xxx

Henry VIII only had 2 headless wives, who were probably the most beautiful, and youngest. What has that got to do with this forum? Nothing. Except, like those 2 after their executions, one couldn't have any sort of meaningful relationship with them.
I agree it is difficut to get into some sort of dialogue without a picture to relate to. I would prefer to have at least one photograph with each member. Someone joining the this site is presumably attempting some social interraction, and not just a private 'ogle'!
I think Beckie's guideline re no bum/tit/pricks as main profile pics is a correct one. There is an opportunity to put raunchy shots if that is your thing, in the gurl naughtiness bit of the site, which could be made members only. Jasmine's comment on the feelings of being a bit "naughty" is a real one, and most T-girls seem to enjoy the tarty look.
I also take Pauline's comment of no face pic, no contact, We 'Girls' don't have to contact anyone, so that can become self policing. Also if you want to respectable and clean, then buy Hello, or some other publication; full of gossip and pictures, and keep away from sites like this.
Also adult albums can be marked as such and restrictions on access can be placed.

I guess it is up to the individual taste, as a crossdresser, I find the feminity in men and myself arousing (TMI?). For some it is about getting the rocks off, and like in my forum, I commented that that is where I thought I was going until I spent more time on Transtastic, and I am realizing, for myself, that it is not all about the "porn star." It is still a sexual activity (dressing) for me but I think it may become a bit less X-rated than when I was younger. Age maybe there is wisdom?

Im no expert with regards what can or cant be done in terms of moderation although seeing explicit photos should be basically an opt-in choice. How this is done i dont know as moderation by a small group of people over thousands of photos is nigh on impossible. I suppose relying on users to declare x rated photos is a start and then perhaps the flagging facility will 'clean up' the naughty people haha.

Each to their own BUT personally id rather choose whether or not i want to see some flaccid c0ck surrounded by stockings and suspenders belt struggling to contain hairy legs and belly haha.

Erm dont quite understand have my photos been moderated didnt think they were that bad they have gone off main page yet others have similar on ???

It might be that some of the main feeds have some sensorship but images will still be on profiles.

Anyway - headless profile pic are fine of course some people are further on this journey and feel able to show themselves more - we are all different.

Interestingly Barbie Video has been viewed more than any other- what does that say? Maybe some should great a poll to gather some opinion.

Still working on the moderated feeds.

I believe that images and comments of an explicitly sexual nature should be confined to the realms of privacy. Self regulation will always result in some people stepping over the line, so we do need some "Knob Police" to slap some botty's ! Discussions like this are so necessary to define the parameters of acceptance and, indeed, to define the spirit and 'personality' of Transtastic. It is interesting how our morality and acceptance of things said and unsaid change over time.
I can never really understand why sexuality and nudity and any sort of honesty about what is under our clothes or what happens in pleasurable and natural acts of human beings loving each other and their physicality, should be deemed "dirty" or "obscene" or "evil" ? ... As far as I can think, it is a part of our "civilization", ... to have large numbers of humans living together in communes and then villages and so on ... and to ensure that you have fighters to defend your community, you need rules of procreation ?
Religion stepped in and helped the rulers to achieve their armies, .. to fight wars against other megalomaniacs, with their own rules and laws about who can make a new soldier !
