How many miles/kilometres has your car done

This is prompted by the story of 93 year old Rachel Veitch in the US whose 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente has done 576.000 miles (927.000 kms), before she had to stop driving due to being blind.

This is not the world record. That's a 1966 Volvo P1600 which had done 1.6 million miles in 1998; its reported that its done over 3 million miles now. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-17603598

How many miles/kms has your car done? The most I have had was a BMW 5 series which had over 300.000 kms (188.000 miles) on it when I sold it. But I am sure that many of you boys or girls has more than that.

Just listen and watch Gunther and his story so far - he has been travelling since the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 in Otto his Mercedes G wagon - 800.00 kms so far.
Amazing how all the low tech things he uses still work. What a wonderful guy.

My personal vehicle has one hundred and thirty thousandmiles on the clock since it was built in 1993.
My work vehicle has just turned the hundred thousand kilometers, mostly done at about 25mph with the Police somewhere near by.

112,000 on my 13 year old Alfa 145 Cloverleaf. I'm going for longevity not speed. Never been near the red line on the engine revs, although I did get quite excited once & hit 5,000 revs...but that's another story

My Toyota Hiace van is not too far off a 1/4 million miles, 248k and has only let me down once when the original alternator failed earlier this year. Its rugged and noisy and not the vehicle to use if you want to get anywhere in a hurry. I also have a Celica on 145K and my Is200 has just clicked past 130K. I do like my Toyotas.
