This week I have been on the series of vile attacks from a very well known TG Website. I will not put the url in unless I get the go ahead from site admin here. If I do I would be happy to post it and a link to the page which they are using to slander me.

The internet can be rocky waters, but when you are using a site that is ranked as the 2066th most visited site in the UK (inc google amazon etc) you would think that an organisation of this size would behave with a certain sense of responsibility and within the Laws of the UK. This site doesnt. I fell out with the site owner, the reason for the fall out I have to take my share of responsibility for. His reaction however has been remarkable. So remarkable in fact that I have had to report him to the police and they visited me last night to give a statement regarding what he does done to me in a vain attempt to wreck my life.

He has posted an ancient picture of me when I was a lot more inexperienced dressing and very drunk in an attempt to embarrass me. I can wear that, I mean we all started somewhere eh? We also dont always look our best, especially after consuming ridiculous amounts of alcohol on a night out. Like I said that I can wear. However what he has done is to try and destroy my reputation as an escort. Above the picture he has stated that I steal from clients and also try to gain personal information from them to blackmail them in an attempt at extorsion. He then contacted AOL to inform them that my email address with them is being used in conjunction with illegal activities. He then contacted the webmaster of my own website www.lindaloves.co.uk and told him the same thing. Now heres the bad bit. Due to the size of his website and that fact it has been running for 15yrs the 2 organisations to his word as fact. Subsequently I have lost my email account with all my contacts in and have lost my website which has run with no problem for 15mnths. I have however contacted the webmaster of my site and he is phoning me this evening and when he speaks to me he will no doubt realise that I am both intelligent and highly articulate and not capable of such vile crimes. When my brother who is also TG and on a six figure salary contacted him to ask him why this was happenning he banned him from the website with no answer.

I do incalls only as an escort. Solely down to the fact I dont hold a driving licence and havent done for 7 years. Now if one was to try and steal and blackmail another individual surely they wouldnt attempt to do it when the victim knows where the blackmailer, of very slight physique, lives and lives alone by themself. The blackmailers life expectancy would be shorter than most, at the very least they would be at the constant threat of physical danger. I am educated to degree level and have a mortgage on my property which I have lived at for 9 years. I would have to be some sort of halfwit to attempt anything I have been accused of given the circumstances.

I am now at my wits end with it. I contacted the thames valley police and the matter is now in their hands. He has his own chatroom moderators (who I know on a face to face personal level) asking him for proof of his accusations as something of this nature is simply not in my character. His reaction is to respond to them aggressively. With no proof.

Why am I writing this? I am not sure really. It could be for one of several reasons. Firstly like most people I need to get things off my chest, and thank you for having the forum here to enable me to do that. Secondly it gives me the chance to warn people that some websites are not always what they seem. Your perception of how a decent size organisation would behave morally will not always be the case. Thirdly there are many in the TG community who are vulnerable in one way or another, I have suffered with acute depression over the years trying to come to terms and understand both my gender and sexuality. On the whole I have managed to keep a lid on it nowadays, being fully 'out' so to speak, but incidents like this send me back into a dark place.

Thankfully their chatrooms are now awash with conversation about this. He has subsequently done more damage to his sites and his own reputation than my own. At the risk of sounding like a bitch: it jolly well serves him right. Using his own website and power and influence in our TG community to egotistically wage war on powerless individuals in the manner in which he has done this week is completely unacceptable.

As I stated before this matter is now in the hands of Police. But be careful this sort of thing could happen to you!

Oh thats the site that for some reason instantly banned me when i joined, not bothered as i dont want to be a member of it anyway.

Gemma hun, i knew you had a few problems on there but had no idea it was this bad.

I hope you manage to get your site back soon, hopefully the police will be able to help.

I had a profile on there a couple of years ago which i deleted, when i tried to rejoin i got an instant ban for some reason,now I can`t remove the traces of that profile, I certainly wont go near it ever again.

It never appealed as a site.... it had bad vibes! now I can see why Gemma! I think you will get some solid gold support here though and don't be cowed by people who think they can go around kickking everyone else because they are big and think they are more powerful!

Totally agree with those sentiments Andrea, thats why i deleted my first account , I only decided to open a new one to widen my contacts base after being cocked about by tv chix, how do you get an instant ban when you join a site i will never know, Sounds like I had a lucky escape.

All I can say is be careful who you give your trust to.

i gotta agree Nicky...I used to be constantly in trouble until I stopped the denial regarding my gender and sexuality and since I have come 'out', I hate that phrase, I havent been in trouble since or even a sniff of it....well obviously except for the problems with these scumbags that run birchplace, but thats something completely different xx

Dont know if anyone saw the prog on BBC3 last night about Internet "Trolling" It sort of makes me feel ill that there are sicko's out there that are out to make someones life a misery and a living hell.
