Talking of suspender ribbons, stockings and suspenders...have a look at the link I have posted on Liz Taylor...there are various scenes from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof where she shows how to attach stockings..............

I usually wear tights during the day and keep stockings for dates and evenings! which means that Andrea's underpinnings are similar to a spaceshuttle atronaut putting on a space suit! it has to be done slowly and carefully.... some parts sitting down..... others bedning over as far as the steel ribs of the corset allow. I also wear safety glasses in case anything snaps back to protect my eyes. The end result is worth it!! as all my heaving flesh is tied up in a silky parcel for some lucky gentlman to unwrap!!.....only the unwrapping can be dangerous if done the wrong way....its all about calculating tensile strength and body mass!....... thanks for the backgrounder Pauline we should start Open T University!

Ribbons are I admit fiddly things to have on your suspenders, but, they do give admirers much more joy to see as well as guidance to the Promised Land! And after all we do sacrifice for our art:)

it is very rare i wear suspendor belt, and the ones i have do not have bows on them, i normally stick to tights and hold-ups, saves a lot of pratting around, collette,X.

Suspenders are great, but when you have difficulty keeping the belt around the waist, then we have problems.
I was converted to hold ups a couple of years ago, and wear them aqll the time now, even under male clothing. I am currently, as I write this, wearing my new Aristoc 15 denier with a lacey top. They reach right up, and the feel of the silky smooth nylon next to my thighs is incredibly sexy. I cannot take my hands away from them.
So, hold ups for me, most of the time.

I must admit that I gave up on frilly suspenderbelts with ribbons and other fancy bits. As I have grown more mature I have gravitated over to good OBGs (open bottom girdles to those who wonder) and nice deeep suspenderbelts. The main thing abouth them is that they all have good strong metal suspenders and they are all 1" wide, nothing plastic or flimsy.
