Its always been one of my dreams to be an air hostess; and I can remember being jealous of a slender Dutch T girl who had several hostess outfits....well a couple of wardrobes full. Now the BBC will be showing in the autumn a new programme Pan Am.

Actually never been one much for uniforms although did have a lovely RAF officers tunic jacket which I seemed to remember I loved to wear I realise why now cos it felt as hugging as a nice girly jacket - which on retrospect accounts for the interest my long hair and jacket generated for those following me!!! Didn't suss that consciously at the time!!!

I love uniforms, and have 3, but want more.

Hi, tried out one of the hostesses uniforms in my office in secret a day the office was closed, but not really convinced of uniforms - have however a nice jacket and skirt ("secretary style"I use frequently together with a blouse which I like. If a nice outfit like the PanAm photo, why not?

I've always wanted a air hostess uniform, I tried to find one online but couldnt, then I was told it was because of airline hijack risk etc that they couldnt sell them !! Not sure if this was true or not..But as I posted on my grid girls F1 group earlier I'd love a grid girl uniform ..lol x

Somehow the idea of a T girl air hostess as a hijacker doesn't make sense....for me it would be difficult to get a uniform that fits, apart from KLM. P xx

My favourite uniforms are regulation nurse or sister uniform - ultra sexy with black seamed stockings, the WRAF or WRNS uniform and the St Trinians schooldgirl uniform. But to be honets the best uniform of all is the French Maid one with plenty of lace on the petticoat

lmao nice one marianne and yes usherette outfit love em i made 2 for me and my wife to go see rocky horror not as glam as the orig but at least i went all dolled up must dig em out and wear em again ha ha xx

oh yes and the fireman thing you could always get a ladder in your stockings and is that a hose in your tights or are you pleased to see me ha ha sorry bad jokes i have been in too many pantos lol xx

uniforms and tgirls is the same as "Sugar & Spice", "Black & White", etc, a must for all girls, I do like the school girl style uniform, maybe because I am just such a naughty girl sometimes, especially when I am outdoors for funtimes or naughty times :-)

And as for the pill box hats ....

have you seen the new Virgin Atlantic add....now thats a uniform i would love....

April is right, they no longer sell off surplus air hostess uniforms because of the terrorist risk, however small... I would love one myself, but you can do a reasonable mock up with a suit, blouse and scarf as it's more the accessories than the suit itself. Other uniforms are simpler to get, Nurse, Wren etc, but prices are going up because of all the re-enactors and film prop business... so if anyone gets offered any size 18 Pan Am uniforms, let me know... LOL.

Not really sure that this qualifies as uniform but I have a couple of French Maid outfits. As with several others I would really like to dress up as a St Trinians 6th Former too or a Policewomans uniform when they still wore skirts and the sexy hat.

i got bought a nusres uiniformlast year when i was in califonicate(pun in tended), no need to say more!!!!.........xxxxxx
