It struck me with Sparkle coming at the end of this week that many here will be part of the 4.000 or so Tgirls that are expected to be there, and that those who cannot go (for whatever reason) will be wishing they were able to go.

So whether you will be at Sparkle or you go out in the evenings or day times then what are the 5 essentials that you need with you? I don't mean a wig or an extra pair of stick on nails or a spare pair of panties, though I guess they could be essential in certain circumstances. And I am assuming that you will have some kind of hand bag to carry all these essentials in.


Here is my list of 5

Mobile phone - so as to be able to meet friends

Lippy - you will need to touch it up ( maybe even a makeup bag with eye liner, blusher and compact?)

Mirror - so you can see to put the lippy on and check your wig is not askew

Bottle of water - as its summer this is essential to drink ( you can always buy a new one or refill it in a bar or ladies loo) and dab it behind your ears if you get too warm

Lots of tissues - helps when you redo make up, for blotting lippy and as an emergency if there is no loo paper.



Of course other girls will have a different list. I usually wear flats for Sparkle but if you wear heels then I would recommend having a pair of flats in your bag.

So come on girls what are your 5, or even 10...it doesn't have to be five....be creative

handbag to contain a shitload of cash, a mobile phone, a bank card, a spare mobile phone and even more cash kept in your room

I did forget about bank card and cash - true essentials - otherwise how the f..k will I pay for everything including for me the taxi home at the end of the nite, instead of the pumpkin. P xxx

Got to be a spare pair of tights/stockings, nothing worse than having an unintentional ladder, the essential pair of flat shoes for when those feet start to hurt (and they will), very important smart phone so you can keep in touch with your public who can't meet you, Cash or Card to enjoy yourself or you could even use your spare tights or stockings to bribe yourself through (smiling) and condoms, to carry as much water as you can, what else would a lady use them for ??? - Have fun at sparkle girlies. Not sure I can expand on the above. The top three are phone, cash and card while number 4 is the handbag to carry all the other clutter which seems essential.

So in my handbag, I have phone, bank card, cash, keys, spare tights, lippy and perfume. A bit more than 5 but couldn't go with less xx

As for me,I'd take with me a box of reliable condoms x

This Sparkle weekend it was:

mobile phone
bank card and/or cash
various medications
hotel key
corn plasters!

I checked the contents of my bag a dozen times for the above before I'd even leave my room!

A bass guitar.... oh wait...

Lipstick, spare pair of ankle high's, a rain hat, hair clips, mobilephone,

My purse, my phone, a lipstick, some perfume,a wide tooth comb and some chewing gum

Mobile.
Small tube lip gloss.
Small round mirror with popup hairbrush.
Tissues.
Spare tights .

Sense of humour! xx

My essentials list. Obviously money and cards.

Mobile - ciuz I'm always running late.

Bits of Makeup - Lippy, Blusher, Nail Glue, Powder.

Camera - Yes, I'm shallow

Magazine - Something to read on the Bus, Train Etc.

Tissues - You always need them when you don't have them.

Umbrella - It WILL rain if you don't take one. Thats the law.

Mine is very similar to Pauline's list..... Mobile phone(fully charged of course), lipstick, tissues, car or hotel key (which will depend on if I'm going homebor not). Condom (in case I'm not going home). Simples xxxxx

Oh and if your thinking "what about money?". I will.leave that to the menfolk ..... Xxx

No phone required for me. I'm on a night out! Not really a phone person anyway. Lipstick (assorted makeup), perfume, keys, cash, brolley, spare hosiery. Don't really need too much more in my handbag.

Number 1 hair brush essential nothing looks worse than a wig on a windy day, Cash & Keys obvious then Lipstick, Lipgloss and mirror.

Lipstick/lipgloss, mirror, tissues, card/cash, powder, spare thigh highs

Got to be tights, phone , mirror, lipstick and a brolly for Sparkle. Definitely a brolly!
