One of our members (Aletta) has asked me if I know of any places that are offering makeovers during Sparkle. By makeovers she means someone applying make up, instead of doing it yourself.

Now I know that Dee Selecta in Bolton offers this kind of service, and though we all know that Dee does a great job her place is not that close to where to Sparkle is being held.

So come on you girls. Why not pass on your contacts and let Aletta and others who want help with their make up have the contact details - phone, email, address, etcera.

    hugs

I don't have any contacts to offer, but if was to suggest anything is practice practice and practice, we all make a hash now and then with our make-up, so just practice and experiment with those different colours. I love the smoky eye effect! Happy practising

I did try to persuade the girl who does my waxing to come up to Sparkle as she does make up as well but as we're in Kent it would have been expensive. However, someone in Manchester MUST know of a salon where they might do a make over.

Alternately you could always book into Boots in Manchester.

I agree with Elizabeth and also if you do a search on Youtube, with the keywords "makeover" or Male to female makeover, you will get tons of stuff to help you!

Too late now but if I remember rightly last year upstairs at Villagios (remember the wig shop Pauline and Josephine) there was a beauty therapist doing makeovers as well. Otherwise Liz is right - practice over and over again xxxx
