Earlier today I was reading an article on the BBC about Barbie, who has rather "unrealistic vital statistics", and started to think about what would be my (or yours?) ideal measurements when we are "en femme".
Let's not any of us forget how most women are curvy and have a waist to hip ratio of 80:100 (ideal is about 70:100). In my opinion too many Tgirls focus on big breasts and showing off their long legs (a bit like Barbie maybe?) rather than on looking like real women. Though if you are over about 5'9" (I m 75) its a bit tricky, especially as the average man's physique has a big shoulders, narrow waist and hips; so a sort of triangle. Rather than the average woman whose hips and shoulders measure about the same - and whose waist is 70-80% less than her hips.
Its never easy looking like a convincing woman when most of your body mass is in your upper torso rather than round your hips and thighs. And as we get fatter its not any simpler, though fortunately lots of women are fatter too. And though hip and bum padding helps to redistribute the silhouette lots of Tgirls don't want the hassle of wearing all that extra padding.
So girls - what would be your ideal measurements ...if you could wave a magic wand?
hugs
Pauline xxxx
PS here is the link to the Barbie article, and Barbie would have been 7' 6" with a 28" waist !!!

I think my reaction is who the hell wants a drab barbie, no make up and no glitter stilettos, well that is the limit, I mean real women are drab enough already why on earth give them reasons to dress like that all the time.
OK back to the question
well I don't actually think about this at all but interestingly enough my manish frame appears to photograph well and I appear to have a good leg to body ratio which seems to do more than anything else to make us look more feminine, I can not say I have good vital statistics so I always am amazed that I can look like this at all, to be honest.

To be honest , the waist hips ratio is a bit of a preoccupation for me . I do feel that as pauline says it is an important factor in passing . There are lots of women who look like they fell out of the ugly tree hitting their face on every branch on the way down ,but even these women can be blessed with a decent silhouete personally I.would be happy with somthing that balanced out my shoulders ,36:35:36 would probably look right for my age

back in the day a 'perfect' woman was 36" 24" 36" and I'd say Barbie is 5" 3" 5" lol
I'd be happy with a 30" waist too (sigh)

I've got a slim waist but that isn't the ideal answer by itself as it just makes my ribcage look much too prominent. Proportion rather than individual measurements is definitely the big issue...
I think I read somewhere once that men's bodies are more concave (curving inwards) and women's bodies tend to be convex (all those lovely rounded curves outwards).
I'd love to know if a combination of diet and exercise could make a male body look more feminine - any ideas anyone?

Actually when I first started, my tits were about 40", maybe a D or a DD to begin with. I kept cutting them down because they stretched my lycra dresses too much and I couldn't see where I was walking. Now I'm about 32B or BB which is far more in keeping with the rest of my lanky gym-toned figure.
