Scanning through - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-dressing_in_film_and_television - there's more than I thought. I think 'Some' is a tough one to beat -- both guys really went for it, and reportedly rehearsed hard to get the walk right. Its cinematography is also sublime.

I thought 'Too Wong Foo' treated the subject matter with respect -- Swayze apparently loved it whilst Snipes allegedly burnt his clothes/shoes at the end of every shoot. What a waste. I would have sacked him for that.

'Priscilla, Queen of the Desert' never did it for me. Too sour.

Theres a fab heart breaker movie called "Soldiers girl", love that to pieces even tho I cry every time I see it

It was a TV series (no pun intended but happily taken) not a film, but I really enjoyed Hit or Miss.
