Fashion Disasters

I was reading about 1980s fashions coming back - its not like its maybe a sort of possibility its actually here

Think of these fashions which are already here...... on a high street near you

    1. Flares

    2. Bodysuits

    3. Overalls

    4. Scrunchies

And then have a quick think about some of the 80s fashions you would not want to wear

    1. Shoulder pads - yeah just what a tranny needs ...BIGGER shoulders...oooo

2 Puffball skirts ( see photo !!!)....though the potential plus is they make your hips and ass look bigger. But......

"Women of a certain age" will no doubt remember wearing these in the mid to late 80s (although they were around decades earlier) – generally they were big, flouncy, made out of taffeta or similar material, and had a skirt which curled under in a kind of ‘puffy’ arrangement. Uber-trendy at the time, although nearly 30 years on an entire generation of ladies have since realised they spent a large percentage of their formative years walking round looking as if they’d tucked their skirt into their knickers by mistake.

What fashion disasters do you remember from the 80s (or any other decade) which you would not want to be seen in now (either dead or alive).

    hugs

    Pauline xxxx

The dress in the photo would be more at home on stage as the principal boy's 'walk-down' costume! Bound to draw attention which is just want you want to avoid if trying to pass in public. And, Janet, a mini-dress or skirt will do much the same, especially as, like me, you are fuller-figured.

My pet hate is poppers ...either with a leotard top or an "all in one" that didnt fit...so the poppers always touch a rather sensitive area of anatomy. P xxx

The photo is very interesting. At the party tonight one of the girls mention tulip dresses which are a variation on the puffer dress. The girls (real ones in late 20s) thought that they would be nice to come back. They thought they'd be good for trannies as they'd give the impression of hips without padding.

I preferred the 70s ra ra skirts - I had a very sexy GF at the time and always wanted to have her figure and wear one - they do help us hip challenged girls to look more curvy. xxx
