A new advertising jingle maybe from Trojan, a condom maker. Well no, actually its a documentary about how condoms have evolved from linen and animal intestines through rubber as thick as bicycle tyres to the invention and use of latex in the 1920s.
What is more interesting is that the first ones we know of were painted on cave walls in france about 15.000 BC, or that in the English Civil war in the 1640s the Cavaliers used condoms made from animal intestines on each other. Or even that syphilis spread around the world between 1494 and 1505 - mainly because the Christians and Muslims banned birth control, not much has changed there then.
Why not have a look at the article and the video (link is below), and for those to whom it applies then make sure that you always practice safe sex with your partner(s). I am 90 percent sure that some of you will have tales of amusing uses for condoms outside of the sexual arena...or even condom jokes...so long as they do not involve Wrigleys Spearmint Gum.
