Why is it that on 90% of specialist websites for transvestites/crossdressers/t.g's clothing never use crossdressers to model their gear t soo winds me up ??

One reason is, they couldn't afford me (lie -- they could easily afford me).

They're selling the dream, rather than the reality. Makes you laugh though with men on the catwalk modelling stuff for girls!

I think this is a good question. I have seen a few sites with trans people modelling and I think it is really helpful. Perhaps we should be more insistent on asking for this.

another question ya need to ask yourself is why do 90% min of specialist websites for transvestites/crossdressers/t.g's clothing charge extortionate prices for similar things that can be found on the high street or online retailers much more cheaper?

a lot of designers seem to have t-girls in mind when they design their clothes ranges.....it seems from looking at catwalks that their idealised shape is tall, slim hips very long legs and slightly boney. me when I was 22! So why not use t-girls as models.....makes sense to me! XXX

websites that target the Trans community use real female models to show off their products making YOU think that YOU could 'look like that'... it's subliminal marketing....

designers also use stunning trans girls to show off their products as a european trans girls are generally taller... can you remember Grace Jones and Bridget Nielsen supermodels who were as tall as hell... hmmm... how rare are VERY tall real females like that...? and how common are naturally tall guys who 'scrub up well' and demand a fraction of the pay Grace and Bridget did.. and again, it's about subliminal marketing aimed at the natal female, dresses will always look better on a taller 'model'

I refuse to buy stuff from tg shops cos they are twice as expensive than a normal lingerie shop and they dont use cd,s as models. There are loads of clothes you can buy cheaper online anyway

i buy stuff at primark and its really cheap and the cashiers dont seem to worry when a bloke is buying lingerie, in fact one girl cashier asked if it was for me, and I said yes. she just grinned

saying where you buy things is kind of going off topic a little... the point of this thread was WHY don't companies use TG modes to demonstrate and show off their products which is aimed at the TG/TV/CD community....
