Hello All, can anyone tell me if transsexual friendly jobs are advertised here?
I'm looking around the website, but can't tell if there is a section for employment?
Hope everyone, is having a nice start to twenty thirteen

    Hi Aisha

We don't have a section on Transtastic for transgendered friendly jobs, mainly because we haven't had that many requests from potential employers. I do know that some members who are transitioning have had positive reactions from their employers and have been accepted by their co-workers.
I will discuss this with Beckie, and see if we can have a section for job adverts, though to be fair I think you, or other members, will have more chance in finding LBGT friendly job opportunities in your own locality.

Sorry that I have not been able to be of more help for you, Aisha.

    hugs and kisses

    Hi Aisha

I checked with Beckie, and there is no jobs section here on Transtastic, so you will have to look in the general market in your area. Good luck with your search.

the economy isn't dead.. it's changing... we're going from owning physical items like CD's and DVD's to owning Electronic data like Mp3 Music and Mp4 Movies... we are starting to Stream more online from companies like Netflix, Lovefilm.com, iTunes etc... so it was inevitable that outlets like HMV and Blockbusters were on borrowed time....

as for Tran jobs, is there such a thing...? I get on fine in my job, it makes no difference 'what you are'.., if you can do the job you apply for, and have experience in that job, then the chance is you're going get the job on merit.. employers don't care if you're black, white, gay, or whatever... the key is to be who you are and try not to be someone you're not... honesty is best policy
