Dressing up for Halloween - Which outfit to wear?

An article in the Guardian with a wacky video made me think about Halloween, which in some way the Americans have appropriated from European countries, and seems to get more important here in the UK every year. And also made me think about the kind of outfits us special girls will be wearing next Wednesday when we go "trick or treating"

I loved the comment below, which is extracted from the article

"Of course, American Halloween is permeating British Halloween faster than you can say "It's a sodding pumpkin, not a Jack O'lantern you stupid Yank", which is how we ended up in the perverse situation whereby a country that, having been whipped up into a storm of tabloid hysteria, is absolutely terrified of paedophiles, yet sends their little children out to knock on stranger's doors to beg for sweets. But that is not the only deviation from the pagan tradition, oh no. Seems that, in America, you don't even need to be scary anymore. You just have to dress up as a thing. This is not something that has fully translated to Britain yet, as anyone who has gone to a Halloween party dressed as a fairy and has therefore endured five hours of "aren't you supposed to be scary?" will tell you (oh, just me?)."

But who are you going to go out as? I do know that in the USA many Tgirls use Halloween as an excuse to dress up and go out. My favorite outfit was the Vagina ( picture attached)...but which outfits do you think you are likely to wear out of some of the following...or are will you choose something else?

Don't forget you are supposed to be scary...

    1. Witch
    2. 1980's radical feminist
    3. Maggie Thatcher
    4. Vagina
    5. Sexy Nurse
    6. Sexy devil
    7. Sexy bunny
    8. Goth
    9. Yourself as Tgirl
    10. Yourself in drab
    11. A Hun

Have fun girls and boys...and have fun on Halloween too.

    hugs

    Pauline xxxx

I did the Sexy Devil at a regular halloween party a few years ago,a way of hinting to the girlfriend about this side of me, it only pushed telling her further back, not quite sure what outfit to go for this year, a Sexy Witch outfit caught my eye last week but i may just end up as me perhaps with slightly more scary m..ake up than usual

I'm not doing it this year but next year I'm going to the Sheffield Fright Night - Sunday before Halloween - as either a sexy witch or a vampire. x

I didn't have much of a chance to dress, but I did go downtown to watch a Thriller Dance dressed in a purple magical robe and brown cloak. Nothing femme this Halloween, which disappointed me.
