In many muslim countries a long prison sentence or even death occur to transgenders.
I have been to the Middle East, although my passport shows me as female (the picture), my gender is still shown as male.
It was always interesting when I travelled their, quite often I would get the odd muslim man how lucky and beautiful I was. Funny enough I had a similar occurrence last week in London at the Dorchester Hotel when a Kuwaiti gentleman came up to me kissed my hand and presented me with a bunch of flowers.

we are lucky to live in this country and our sexual freedom is one of the many things we can be thankfull for .. i dont know if anyone saw that an autistic 14 year old christian girl , in pakistan was sent to jail for allegedly burning the Koran . which proved to be untrue.. there is predudice everywhere , at the moment we celebrate the paralympics, but it wasn,t so long ago when people with bisabilities , whether they were physical or mental, were very badly treated in this country

I thought it was an interesting article and even though in a muslim country I was surprized to see that people was relaxed about the girls. I thought it was the same here as it is over there with peoples attitudes. could you see us going through manchester city singing for money all dressed up I dont think so lol
