Younger girls do not need to read any further......this is for all of us who in addition to covering 9 o'clock shadow also have to get around no longer having the dewy glow of youth.

Good Housekeeping in the USA have done a "scientific" study with 660 RGs and +- 2000 questionnaires to find the best products. Their results are attached for those who wish to have a look. Luckily that organ of sanity - the Daily Mail - has printed a shortened list, which I have listed below. Exchange rate is about US $ 1.60 = £1.00, and quite a few of these products are available outside the USA.

What is interesting is that for concealer and foundation (Tgirls' biggest friends) the cheaper products from Avon, Maybelline, Revlon and Olay are winners.

Although many Northern girls swear by the use of lard as a moisturizer I use Nivea and find that eyebrow pencils from Aldi and lippy from Boots work well - this girl is on a budget!!

Maybe some of you would like to pass on your tips for good anti ageing makeup?

    Have fun girls

If you've missed it Boots have revamped their No7 range, so now you can go and find the correct foundation/concealer. Not sure if they have revamped their anti-ageing stuff but as my wife says - moisturise, moisturise, moisturise and do not use soap on you face!

I use Nivea everyday, and it does help, but now that I'm 40 I'll need to look at these anti-aging creams in more detail xx

My favourite anti-ageing agent is alcohol.

The more I drink the younger I look!!!!
