Does anyone use pads to shape their hips? Any particular brands/types/sizes worked for you?

sorry, I've never used padding for my hips, I've never seen the need in it myself.... Women are different shapes and sizes so there's no need to worry about it... wearing different styles of clothing can make your waist line/hips/bum look different anyway ~♥~

Yeah thats true but I have very wide shoulders and I think I could do with a bit of padding to balance them out. If I did get them I wouldnt wear them all the time, just if I ended up going out or something.

Hey Aimee, It's true what Lisa says, you don't really need to use pads as the I found the best way to *enhance* your figure is simply use a corset or cincher, the visual effect will amaze you when you try it

Ive got a corset which I borrowed to a friend a little while ago, but because of my slim hips I find the bottom sticks out a little and you can see it through whatever outfit im wearing.

To be honest I probably wouldnt bother with hip padding anyway, I just wanted to see if anyone did and what worked or didnt work.

I too have slim hips, and the bottom sticking out part is just what happens to natural ladies bottoms. I find especially with tight club dresses, a cincher really transforms the figure

Ha thats not what I meant. The bottom of the corset sticks out over the top of my hips and sticks out a little. It might be just too heavy duty to wear under tight clothing. I might get just a cincher instead to see if that makes a difference.

Ah! Easy problem to solve, you just have to move it up your body slightly and or try slacking it out a little. What size is the corset measurment? because it may be a little too big or small. The way to do this is like this : Measure your waist, and say its 30" then you go for a 26" cincher, you have to - 4" so you can udjust it to a realistic size, but word of warning, dont pull it it all the way on a first wear, you may end up passing out!!! and not good if the GF comes home LOL

Judging by your pictures Aimee, you don't need Padding, I understand your thoughts on broad shoulders but simply avoiding V neck tops, which accentuates shoulders, and go for plain clolours and not too tight... 'A' Line skirts or pleated skirts will always provide a line out from the hips and thighs giving the illusion of a waistline which looks more natural.... I tried a cincher once and could wait to get the thing off, (I think they were invented in Guantanamo Bay (lol).... another thing with skirts and tops is that you have a better combination of outfits... 5 dresses will always be 5 dresses, but 5 skirts & 5 tops will give 25 variations of outfits... be as natural as you can and you can't go wrong, less is more as they say ~♥~

I agree Lisa, the option of A Line skirts and avoiding V neck tops will work, which why I like and have the retro 50's style dresses and combined with a petticoat makes the illusion of a feminine wasteline completeI do have to ask Lisa, did you "break" the cincher in? Cinchers require a few weeks of test wearing first, you cant just put it on as it will be very uncomfortable. You have to let your body adjust to its shape, like sitting down and bending can be almost unbearable at first, It took me about a month to get used to the feel of it and as you test wear it, each week you bring it in tighter, wear it only for an hour at most each day and after about a month you'll be able to wear it without really noticing it. Most outlets will tell you not to pull a cincher in if its your first one as it may cause loss of conciousness due to pulling in the diaphram, so its always best to test wear. I have a 30 inch waist and with a cincher, i can pull it right down to 26 inches and feel no discomfort. I dont want to sound like a i am giving a lecture lol but just giving out free advice on how I found the best way to get the best out of it without thinking "well that was a waste of money"
