As the article says .... these were first championed by Stella McCartney....illusion dresses help to give you curves. Woohoo.
One of the comments about the dress in the video is from a TV who tried it on, and she says it works.
So for all you apple and rectangle body shapes why not either read the article, watch the video...or both. Then have a look for one for yourself.....or maybe just say, "not for me"

Ive been looking at these for a few weeks, ebay do some lovely ones around the 25 pound mark, but you can also get a used one from there a lot cheaper

Aftershock do a lovely leopard print dress with leather panels at the waist to achieve a similar effect *swoon*

M&S are doing a LBD this christmas which is based on this idea. Looks great from the front but not sure it'll do anything from the side. And that comes from me and my wife!
