anybody recommend some temporary nails that i can put on and take off within a couple of hours? got some free house time so im dressing and i want to take some pics (obviously) and fancied some fake nails to just finish the pics off,not sure what to use, as i dont want them gluing on and leaving glue all over my nails etc any ideas girls?

Glue them babe and then file any excess off.

I've tried double-sided tape - doesn't work very well - glue all the way now.

Never tried stick on nails as ive got long girly nails anyway, how people didnt suss me sooner with my girly nails is baffling i always side stepped any comments at least i dont bite them !

I would be rubbish at nails myself its worth keeping my real ones nice it saves a lot of bother with falsies and i can always paint them, but hardly ever do

You can buy stuff to coat your nails to stop yourself from biting them, don`t need any of that myself i`d rather bite a biscuit.

Grow your finger nails Steph and shape them, they will look fab, get some pink undercoat nail varnish, start with that then u want some white just to do the tips, hey presto French Nails, theres lots of tutorials on youtube.

Ive always had long nails and never worn falsies... I've seen some that look really nice... but nothing better than your own ...

False nails are great if you use a lot of glue, they stay put BUT they are a pain in arse to get off. Its like peeling the shell off prawns LOL And they screw up your natural nail underneath. Maybe just use your own nails and bang some nail varnish on?

False nails...pain in the ass. Gave up on stick one ones about 1998, when I drove to pick up a friend and lost 9 nails in a 30 minute drive.

Dont like glue and as I cant paint with my left hand - its lots of buffing and shaping for the "au naturelle" look.

I love to get acrylic nails done at the salon. They make me feel so feminine. You can’t hardly do anything with them. They are very hard to get off though!

I use false nails every now and then, bought on ebay.
I use lots of glue, buy the one that comes with a brush, makes it lots more easy to not spill when aplying. Cut them a bit, then file them , looks nice. When i vhant to take them off i soak my hands in warm wather with soap in it, come off quit easy then.
Then i rince my nails with nail polich remover, still leaves a bit glue leftover, but it almost dosent show, and sertenaly does not look anywhere near femenin(the leftover glue)
