Boobs, yes may seem old but new

Hi all, Let's talk boobs for a min..
BOOBS, the pair or two things that immediately make the visual difference between us and real girls!

As trans people are different in what we want at the end of day, at the end of transition, at the end of whatever, however we decide to go , at the end of the day I think every trans wants a pair of boobs.
As cd's , casual tv's you know where I am going here, it's ok, but for full timers, transitioners its not a great option

SO, we come to hormones, which is really the subject that I want to say about.

Hormones, in general a concoction of chemicals which flow around the body, telling certian parts what to do and how to develop.

I am guessing that you all knew that anyway ..Good.
What I think that some do not realise is this, and for this I need an example, simples, any RG will do..

When you are born your body has already determined how tall you will be, what sex you are etc etc, so that if you are a girl it knows that despite how many hormones are pumped through your body you will have breasts at such a size..b, c,d cup whatever..Its the genetic makeup,,Hence when we men go for hormones for breasts are body has already determined , despite the fact that we arent female how big they will be..!!!

So one of us could have a B cup and someonelse on the same dose have a D cup..!!

    Thats nature for you ...xxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm not sure this is strictly true. It was my understanding that genetics controlled the pre-disposition not the finality. Otherwise there could never be disparate identical twins.

In that case 2 daughters from the same parents would have same boobs, but they dont..What I am saying is that despite hormones you could have any size boobs, the amount of hormones makes no difference, your body determines it....

What I am saying is this, whatever sex you are born , even if you want to change from Male to female and take hormones to grow boobs, your body decided at conception what size those boobs would be...SO, if you are Male and want to become Female, your breasts will only reach that size........Same as rg's, some are A cup and some are g,,its a lottery almost..xxxxxxxxx

The only people who have the same genetic make up are identical twins and they do normally have the same size boobs. Two daughters from the same mother have similar genetics mix and will generally have the same size boobs but that can depend on the boob size inherited from their dad(s). However, with studies of different identical twins they have found that things aren't that simple. Nature can win over science. So by you introducing chemicals maybe nature can effect science and you get bigger boobs than expected. Or you just get the boobs that the joker in the pack assigns.

Well all I can say is that I believe one needs to looks at the genetics and shape within the family and usually this will lead to an idea as to whether you are likely to go large, small or medium as the normal distribution curve pertains it is most likely that most will end up wherever the average ie mean size is - so statistically one is most likely to range between Bs to C cups- another factor that affects genetic girls (gg's) - is child birth and rearing which throws a whole new bunch of hormones into play and also has permanent on effects on a gg.

Perhaps they'll be able to synthesise those hormonal changes soon so the transitioning male can suffer child birth and child rearing - now that is something I would not wish upon even my worst enemy. And gg's go through it voluntarily!

If they did, I'd transition tomorrow (except I'm probably post-menopausal). Procreation would add a lot of meaning to my life.

April and Feefy you are two ladies I would love to meet. And I take my hat off to you. Knowing the discomfort, pain and emotional upheaval childbirth involves and being willing to go through with it, takes more guts than I have.

a nice little a \ b cup will do me , not too big , im on the hormones for several reasons ( all about femininity ) obviously the facial femininisation is a major factor , for fining out the hair , shrinking of the testes and of course BOOBS ! . Anyway what i thought i might mention is "drinking water " ! hhhmmm strange comment they think ,whats that got to do with hormones and boobs , well now i read an article in a journal some time ago that said that our drinking water supplies are rich in Estrogen ! yes ! apparently Estrogen cant be broken down by treatment and filtration and when a woman on the pill passes water the excess Estrogen from her body is passed into the water supply it went on to say that this is why a lot of younger girls now have larger breasts than the last generation and why men have a tendency to develop moobs earlier in life ! so there you go , food for thought ! xxxxxxxx

It's not just oestrogen from women taking the pill it's also phytoestrogen from our changing diet. These are plant based oestrogen compounds which do the same job. My mother in law died of breast cancer indirectly because she was on the early HRT program which was high dose oestrogen, so when my wife was told she should start the same program we looked up the alternatives and found phytoestrogen. She has not been on HRT and is managing well. They supplement her diet and give her the oestrogen she needs.
And perhaps the oestrogen I want as well.

Good point Josephine , the menopause tablets that i am taking to supplement the hormones contain plant oestrogens , and i have noticed distinct changes to my face and limited breast growth in 4 months , so yes phtoestrogen is also present in our drinking water .

If you look up phytoestrogen on the web you'll find a list of plants which contain lots of them. Top of the list is soya and flax seed. Add them to you diet in reasonable quantities and you may not need the menopausal tablets.
I'm interested to hear you say that you've noticed changes as I haven't much but any little helps

Your right again , soys isoflavones and gamma linolenic acid are the other ingredients , i should have mentioned that i take 2 per day and now of course the hormones , but both Sue and Kelly have said about my figure filling out and getting curvier , facewise , well i can see that myself but sue says all she can see is Jet now if you check my early pics ( me and sue xmas eve when i came out ) and compare them with the ones in the pink dress you can really see the difference in my face , Diet wise i hardly eat anything ,some days i dont eat at all , ive always been like it , so im sticking with the menopace for now !, how long have you been taking them and have you compared yourself against photos taken a few months back ? , you may well have changed but because you see yourself in the mirror every day you just hav,nt noticed the changes , also remember that im having dermal fillers and botox so that obviously helps a lot ! xxxxxxxxxxx

In my case it's only to help reverse years of male grooming. I don't take hormones as my mother in law's experience is still very vivid. So phytoestrogen is only doing a holding job but at present that is enough.

But since you will only grow a cup size or two with hormones, which may be acceptable to you, why not start with breast implants in whatever size you want.
  • May 15, 2012 1:34 PM BST
Thats a good point Cerise , but for myself i only want to be an a \b cup ( the size i am now in a padded bra ) and i am already showing signs of growth , but its not something i would totaly rule out at a later date if im not happy , ( oh yes and of course theres the financial thing to bear in mind as well ) so for now i will stick with the mones ( not just for breasts but for the other feminising properties , face , testes , fat distribution etc ), however if it were a matter of wanting boobs quickly however i would definitely find the cash somewhere ! xxxxxxxxxxx
