Bra Sizing - do you have bras in the wrong size?

It would appear from a recent article in the Daily Mail that bras dont fit real girls very well, due to many reasons ......as they say in the article "that's why your bras never fit". Clearly we cannot all walk round with an expert from Rigby & Peller to help, like the woman in the article, and few us of have enough breast tissue to worry about underwire digging in. But there are some good pointers about how to choose one that fits comfortably.

I know I have several bras that don't fit right...they are often "just plain uncomfortable", one of these days I should send them to the charity shop. In the meantime happy shopping girls

I'm quite lucky in that all but one of my bras fit me quite well. Unfortunately though it usually comes down to trial and error for me, which means a trip to the clothing bank!! xxx

Mine fit me properly, i got measured up a few years ago using the breast forms i use now, by a lovely lady in a strange little shop in Swaffham, Norfolk, they sold underwear, but mostly bra's and girdles, but they also had an amazing second hand dress shop which joined the bra shop by a small corridor.

The poor old dear actually thought i was female, and looked a bit shocked when i told her i wasn't, and that it was the reason i was there, because those forms were pretty new and the bra i used clearly didnt fit.

The old lady was lovely, measured me up and recommended i went for a 32c, and it still fits well, i bought another 2 bra's similar, i like the ones that cover the silicone, i can't bear them showing if im wearing a blouse or small top.

Im not surprised most women wear the wrong size, not being funny but some do have a distorted vision of themselves, squeezing into a dress 2 sizes too small etc, same with bra's, sadly most boobs droop with age, like spaniels ears, plus the weight goes on, and they cant bear too buy a bigger bra, its all psychological. Shame, a good fitted bra does wonders.xx

The sporty bras-come-tubes are quite handy in certain situations and tend to be snug X

This German company has some helpful information:

I got my boobs from them cheaply (relatively) off ebay.

Unfortunately, far too many of them now. It's only quite recently I have
found the correct size, more or less, with so many gone to waste.
