Seems like knee high boots are back (did they ever go away I ask myself?).....according to the Guardian fashion lady

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/fashion/2011/oct/07/knee-high-boots-cartner-morley

I know that I wear them a lot here in Manchester - they do keep the rain off and my feet dry. Last Wednesday I didn't wear them and got wet legs and tootsies scooting between places in the Village.

Do you prefer ankle boots, knee high boots or even thigh boots??

    hugs

    Pauline xxxx

I love my knee high boots, they can be stilletto's, block heels, or cuban heels as long as they 3+ inches high, dont have anything lower than 3 inches

definitely knee highs for me, with a 4 or 5 inch heel. That deosn't mean I won't wear thigh boots, but they're not exactly practical for walking about townif you get my drift xxx

    I wear boots almost
100% of the time. Boots or pumps. I prefer for walking 5" spikeheel knee high. 6" sometimes but short walks & sitting. Over knee & thigh high are not as comfortable to me but I probably wear that style most of all.

A good pair of boots that fit well even with a 5" spike heel are fairly easy to walk in. It takes a bit of practice. But my 5" spike heeled boots to me are very comfortable. Iam very much at home in them. I wear them almost daily, maybe that's why they are so comfortable? I think that is the reason. I think if you get used to anything it gets comfortable

I love high heeled boots! Especially knee high or even thigh high ones with spiky heels of at least 3 inches or moreBut I find that the thigh highs are a bit difficult to walk in, especially if the heels are more than 4 inches. I guess I need more practice!

I have loved boots with 6" spikes ever since I bought my first pair. Whether they are ankle boots, knee high boots or my wondeful white thigh boots. It doesn't really matter as long as they have lovely spike heels xxxx

Practically gotta say love my little 3.5 ankle boots, and my flat calf length boots- might be nice to have some extremely exotique thigh lengths with heels though

I love knee high boots feel sexier in them than shoe as long as I've got a short skirt on or tights on to show of my legs x

I quite like my knee high boots with a four inch heel.
also have a pair of ankle boots which are nice to wear to.
but would really love a pair of thigh boots in black leather.

Above knee boots always just remind me of 80's hard rock/hair metal videos with women dressed like prostitutes.
Im more partial to a nice knee boot but my absolute preference is ankle boots at the moment. Bang on trend, and they're not inclined to slip off your foot when walking - best of both worlds

I just like anything with a heel if I'm honest, the higher the better.

Ah Boots, currently have only 4 pairs.
Thigh highs don't work unless you like short skirts, or have some short skirts, or dresses
Knee length platforms are good for walking in.
Best of all are the tight ankle boots, which work with almost anything.
5 inch heel minimum, but beware bunions.
Look at the forefoot loading on the picture
