Late october I will go to Faro-area in Portugal for some holiday. Do you have any ideas of good places where it is ok for me when dressed up? (hotels, beaches, clubs...) Any tips is more than welcome.

I get the impression that Portugal is still a little behind in the gender stakes. Still a bit of a "cowboys and cars" outlook with the men.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong. A little caution required, I think.

I was holidaying in the Algarve further west than Faro. I hired a car and went all over the place. Was thinking of retiring there before the ballon went up!
Great beaches all over the place, bit of nudity too. East of Faro, nearer the Spanish border, you can get a "train" ride out onto a long long sand bar. Had a good breeze blowing which could be a life saver on a hot day and chilly on a warm day!
I wasn't looking to cross dress there then and didn't notice anything faintly resembling LGBT anything?
