I am going to have a band to be called, The Death Flowers, but was thinking of other band names, and adjunctioning name onto next name, so a band called ; Andromeda and then somebody might add to this name, PolyAndromeda

And we just are playing a game with this and the more mangled and entertaining the name the better

So we'll stat with a band name of "Styx" (it is a river on the way to Hell...)

The band Styx were at their height circa 1982. Great band who obviously understood the meaning of the name they'd chosen. Amazingly rounded vocals and fantastic arrangements.

Reminded me of Queen, especially The Best Of Times single. Still got the laser etched picture disc. They are one of my favourite bands of that era. Releasing a concept album then was really bold. No-one else was so blatantly that I can think of. Anyway, none of this is of any help in your quest, as I digress into nostalgic haze, you know, when you just know that anyone looking at you will see that blank look on your face. Aaah the memories, the time and place.

I was im a punk band called The Snot Heads. We got banned from playing everywhere in Skelmersdale and the surroundkng area, which we were very pleased with at first, until we realised that meant we'd have to put our own gigs on, which we did. Unfortunately the police got wind of it (probably something to do with the 5oo + posters we put up, and turned up outside the venue preventing anyone from entering. They nearly caused a riot!

I remember a band called 'The Desperate Bicycles'. I believe they had their own label called 'What's The Damage John?'.
