This Friday 26 September is my birthday, which isn't important, when I have a day off work to do with what I please, which is important. I rather fancied having a makeup lesson but the people I would normally go to, Femesque (http://www.femesque.com/) who have been lovely to me, are booked up. Can anyone recommend someone else within a reasonable distance of Reading who might be willing to teach me how to do my makeup?

Honestly luv, by far the best way to learn is practice.
But before you practice, why not try the ultimate free learning center of the globe - YouTube.
I swear, I can do anything if I've watched a YT tutorial first.
It has everything from perfecting the eyeliner 'flick', to correct brushes to buy, covering your eyebrows to draw girly ones on, contouring/highlighting, false eyelashes, product reviews etc etc.
Everything you will ever need is there, and it's FREE! and you can pause, rewind, skip ahead so you can be certain you get it right - go at your own pace.
Buy yourself the basic kit (Superdrug online if you're paranoid about buying makeup as a guy), and give it a go!

So much cheaper in the long run, and then you can try getting creative xx
