Advice please on removing this. I fight a losing battle despite shaver and hair removal cream (hate it). Are strips the answer or is there a really good shaver?

The only object I both hate and love is my depilator from Boots. It hurts beyond all human capacity for pain but my it leaves my back and bum so smooth for a week or more I have to admit it is worth all the girly shrieks of anguish.

I prefer depilation over all other methods because you remain genuinely smooth for up to 10 days (less time for different parts of the body). I also tried a new Boots potion called Inhibitif for about six months, and I did notice a very slight reduction in either the amount or thickness of hair that was growing back, but it certainly didn't banish hair from anywhere I tried it (all areas between belly button and upper thighs). But it really did cut down the amount of ingrowing hair after depilation, so it wasn't a total waste of money. xx

    Nicci,
Thanks for your advice, which device is it? I've just used Philips Ladyshave but would have to use it once an hour to make a difference. xxx

Mine is called the Philips Satinelle. It's different to the Ladyshave, which is of course a shaver as the name suggests. Mine is basically a rotating head of vicious little tweezers that pluck out all the hairs in an astonishingly painful but effective way. It's great for the back, bum and legs but was a disaster all around the groin area, it basically caused a rash there and didn't remove much hair.

Thanks girls I've followed advice and bought a Braun epilator. First time I used it I jumped in the air and invented some new swear words, but I am getting used to it and it does work. I tried the wax strips in the past but they didnt work too well for me. That was back in the day so I will try the current versions. If only I was a masochist, this would be fun.
