Mel wants to go out

    Right, as I'm sure I've mentioned before, my partner knows about Mel, but isn't too comfortable with the idea, and herein lies the problem.
    Unless you live in a cave on mars you'll know Halloween is coming up soon, and I really want to use it as an opportunity to have a test run of going out as Mel in public, but I have no idea how to bring up the subject to my partner. I did ask last year, and she really wasn't happy with the idea, as she was worried what people might say, especially seeing as I wouldn't be wearing a blatantly false wig, so it could be viewed by others that I made " too much effort".
    The question is this, is there any way to bring it up a bit more tactfully this year, as it really is something I want to do, and I know a lot of my friends know about Mel and are really understanding, or am I just being selfish, especially seeing as Halloween is my partners favourite time of year ( shes absolutely mad for it)
    Any advice is more than welcome.

  • Sara Calypso Mel, I think you need to just sit down and talk to her about it, it maybe that you have to compromise a bit and look more like a sexy witch than a beautiful princess. Hope all goes well keep in touch.

  • Deleted Member Thanks for your comments guys, I've formulated a kind of compromise Im gonba try. I'll see if she'll let me dress as frank from rocky horror, only downside... She's never seen the film.
