In my own words

Blogs. . blogs. .blogs, Where do I start? Well I will start by saying that I am an outspoken person when it comes to TG issues, but I am not talking just to "regular" people, this includes those in the TG world who feel that thier view is the only one worth pointing out. I am a very private person and aalthough my profile pic and name are not mine, it's my choice as a person to do that, I dont want people to tell me that is wrong, because as this site suggests "Be who you want to be" and to be honset, I have more in common with Stewie Griffin as a person than people who know me actually realise.

Blogging is something I do like to do, but not many people can handle my "no nonsense" views especially when I am trying to let a person know that they are making the wrong decision. I usually find in general that and yes, this often happens in the TG world far too much more than regualr social circles, that when someone disagrees with a subject, the usual thing is to hit back with "ignorant minded" but in all truthfullness, it's just a case of "truth hurts" and one of those big cases is my disagreement that people who change sex and want to be recognised as "women" have thier birth certificate re-draughted to say the sex is female to rid the stigma of being claased as "different". Now I now this may sound like I am being naive but upon having this same arguement with a post op TS, I asked a question "So now you are classed as female, what do you do in regard to dating, do you go as a woman or TS?" The answer I got was "Well, I would go to a site as female" I didnt get a good response because I replied "Isn't that classed as fraud, because you are going to a site with the intention of dating either a man or woman, knowing that these people believe you are a woman, then what happens later down the line when they do find out you arent what you say you are? That can be a dangerous game to play as people have been murdered over that type of thing"

Now, for most, what I said may seem either ignorant or just plain offensive but in reality it's an honest question, because what would be the reaction if a collector paid out big money for for an original Dodge Charger and the paperwork says it's genuine, only to find out that the engine under the bonnet is that of a Ford Focus?

  • Deleted Member Rebecca, I am not passing judgement on anyone and do not assume anything, although you did by saying I am a man, no am TG. I was just asking a question, Life is full of questions, it's something a person has to get used to in life, I for one questioned...  more
  • Deleted Member sorry Stew i didnt know you classified your self as tg i read the name Stew as short for Stewart . hence the confusion .
  • Deleted Member Thats perfectly okay Rebecca, I am sorry if anything I wrote offended, it wasnt designed to, although I can see how it came across, so apologies if it seemed that way
  • Andrea Caskin I've always found is easy to tell the difference between a Ford Focus 1.6 and Charger's V8 by just listening to them!
