  Swathed in fur, this woman certainly looks, errr, striking - even suspicious.
  
  And she certainly believes diamonds are a girl’s best friend.
  
  For that is no lady, that is a man who donned drag to steal £600,000 from jewellers across the country - including an attempted Birmingham raid.
  
  Romanian Vasile Bogdan, 35, of no fixed abode, was caught after being chased by a store owner at the scene of his final raid in London.
  
  And this week, at the Old Bailey, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the string of raids. He was more conventionally attired for the court appearance.
  
  Bogdan and a gang of at least 10 men  struck in Birmingham, on January 5, but left empty handed after being foiled by security measures at the Stratford Road shop.
