    Flight Lieutenant Ayla Holdom, 34, is the first and currently the only openly transgender military pilot in Britain. Yesterday she spoke out about returning to work at RAF Chivenor in North Devon as a search and rescue helicopter pilot, having undergone two years’ of operations to become a woman.

  • madam sin I think the male dominated jobs always seem to get more attention for the girls but at least its a established career and the pilots I've met have all been decent intelligent people so i wouldn't expect anything else tbh,
  • Julie Hawkwood I'm sure the 'transfeminists' would be very angry at this story and carp on about how 'his' privileged male background allowed her to become a pilot where no cis girl could ever get the life chances to get such a job? x
