A visit to the chiropodist

I had a slightly embarrassing experience recently; my feet have been playing up, nothing new there, so I booked an appointment at a local Chiropodist. I turned up and was greeted by a nice woman who wore shoes with individual sections for the toes! Always a good sign on a chiropodist!

I got into the chair and stretched my legs out and offered my pinkies for inspection. She put on her surgical gloves and carefully and closely examines my toes and soles of my feet. I had been having pain in a toe joint and a callous was growing and causing pain. She ruminated a bit, then looked me in the eye and said,

“do you wear high heels” I was so surprised by the question that I have to admit I spluttered a bit before realising that in this kind of situation the truth is probably the best policy.

Yes I replied I’m a transsexual!...... We then had the most extraordinary conversation about the damage that high heels do to woman and of course to men. The body weight is concentrated onto a small area of delicate foot bones and..... given that I explained I sometimes bought shoes that were probably a size too small for me as well, it appears that I have, after years of tottering around on the dance floor and various men’ bedroom floors, damaged my feet somewhat and will need a number of appointments to help sort some of the problems out. We also laughed when I confirmed that there was no way I was going to stop wearing high heels for anyone and that I would need to launch a damage limitation exercise.

During our conversation I discovered that her brother had come out as a transsexual and it had caused huge problems within the family but that they had stayed very close, so she did have some insight into a girl such as me.

So girls, the lesson is, look after your feet, try if at all possible to buy heels that fit you, go to the chiropodist reasonably regularly and moisturise the feet and check for calluses, etc. wear padded inner soles where possible and take your shoes off regularly for a break during the evenings.

  • Nicky Miniskirt The trick is to find high heels that distribute your down force gravity wise in a comfortable way ? I have some heels that kinda pitch me forward, and some that make me feel centered. LOve you all ! Nicky XXX
