  Hello Friends

   

  Just updating you all on my health status, after suffering a relapse in March I was admitted again to hospital for 5 days. This time however they found the true cause of my allergy condition as mentioned in my earlier blog (My illness update dated feb 8th) with a biopsy and  they have prescribed what appears to be much better nedication which has now stopped the continuous itching and inflammed skin, I now feel very much better in myself.

   

  The allergy which I have suffefred from since christmas was caused by certain chemical elements in my hormone treatment reacting with another element in a brand of washing powder, thereby affecting my soft skin, My consultant said he had seen this before but its very rare and unfortunately I am the 1 in 50,000 that suffers from this and as a result it looks as though its the end of my transition as far as full gender reassignment is concerned and I will have to be content with being half male and half female, its all a bit sad really but I have accepted the consultants diagnoses and I must get on with life.

   

  The new medication has kicked in big time and once again my skin is returning to normality and I now continue to recover and start getting some photography work in for my own photography business.

   

  It has been a difficult 3 months suffering like I have and there were a couple of times when I got so depressed I really wanted to cut bits of my body off that were driving me mad with itching and inflammed skin 24/7 but all has been resolved.

   

  So after 3 months of near swollen head, sunken eyes and swollen lips along with flaky skin all over my body from head to toe I am now finally looking forward again to having a mormal life body wise,apart from the fact that I can never have gender reassignment...oh que sera sera.

   

  Thats it as far as my illness goes and hopefully now that the cause is known I will continue to improve skin wise though my face has cleared up and only my legs and arms remain scarred and blemished but they will return to normal in time, (so better forget above the knee skirts for the time being I dont want to frighten people off !!!!! and wear my jeans.)

   

  Now its back to my photogarphy business getting clients portraits done and portfolios put together for our friends in the transgender community, incidentally if you want to look at my website it is www.antonyburton.co.uk. This has to remain in my male persona as I can no longer go ahead with gender reassignment as mentioned above but I hope you will all understand this and that I can still remain on this site as a member and friend.
