Pampering day and shops

  Today was a day i will remember for a long,long time.

  I was up early,and with what was ahead,took my time to get ready,and left home about 9am to drive to Milton Keynes,i had an appointment at www.vassallo-beauty.co.uk to have my brows shaped,i didnt realise they were going to be tinted along with my lashes! After that was done,i had my back waxed and was veruy happy with all out comes.

  After i had a bad hair moment(we all get them girls),we drove to the main Milton Keynes shopping centre,where we were due to pop into Boots,visit the make-up area and find the Benefit Make-up lady,whom Sharon knew.We find Bridget and after being introduced she set about her work on me.Cleaned off my other make-up and started to transform me.She offered all make-up tips whilst going along,and gave a commentary as well.I decided to have the daytime look,with smokey effect eyes.Bridget was a very busy girl,but gave me her full attention as she added different creams,and made my eyes look wonderful.She then started on my face,adding creams foundation and blushes,whilst still giving tips as she went along.

  I was there for about an hour,with Sharon watching,and asking questions some on my behalf.I was in full view of the entire shop,as the counter was situated opposite the main till area,and working on another counter was a guy in full make-up and looked fab!

  After Bridget had finished,i purchased some of her items,not cheap but worth buying.She was brilliant!

  I left Boots feeling a million dollars,with my head held high and a great smile on me!

  Sharon and myself then found the perfume area,and chose a perfume each,and used some before heading off to the shopping via M&S from a late,but welcoming lunch.We were a milk pot short in the cafe,so i went and asked for extra,the guy behind the counter asked me...'Can i help you luv?' I just asked for the milk,he passed it,saying...'there you are darling' I tell you what,how did i feel just then? wanted to burst into tears!

  We trawled the shops,i was after a shortish skirt,but i am such a fussy girl when buying these days,and found nothing.But,it was fantastic to justwalk about yet again feeling relaxed.

  Did i get noticed in Boots? Yea,im sure i did but didnt care one bit.

  Did i get seen about the shops? Dunno and dont care!

   

  I so sincerly hope that if just one girl follows what i did in Boots today,then this blog has helped someone.Yes,we all know how hard it is getting out and about,but,once the first few nerves have gone,you will realise how fantatstic the real world is.
