This morning,i decided to take a trip to a Boots store near to me,my aim being to have the No7 Foundation skin check to see which product will suit my complextion.
As i walked into the shop, right in front of me by the front door was the advert and stand showing what i have came for. After i picked a new eyeshadow and 'camoflague cream'(i suffer with a slight redness of my skin),i asked an assisstant about the skin check,i could not believe what happened next!.............
I explained i was trannie and she said, cool come with me.Went to the No7 kiosk and she got me to sit down, and the took a photo of my right cheek, this camera tells in an instant what shade foundation is needed, she said i need Cool Rose. She then said,' i best check your left cheek to be safe' and that photo showed i require Warm Ivory. It had to be me being different!! I said to her,i hope you like a challenge!
Hold on,she said,i will get my friend to double check, she called her over and now i have two girls checking my skin for the correct foundation!!
I felt so good, these two girls, nothing was to much for them, trying different foundations, adding, removing and using the camoflague cream as well.
In the end, they said the best thing to do is we will give you some foundation from the best two,go home and try both.I then said, with me,ignore my hair you see,i wear black hair.
OK,no problem they said try them and see what you think is best. Can you come back tomorrow? they asked. Yea,sure can i reply.Ok great, can you wear the foundation you like best,so we can check it all out.
So,tomorrow morning,i will head back and see the two girls and see what they say.
To be honest,my confidence has just been give one hell of a boost, and couldnt believe how well i got treated.I didnt feel nervous about sitting in the middle of the make-up department these girls were just fab.
Will write tomorrow about my next part of 'My Boots Experience'. And will also get thier names and contact the store manager to say how great they were.
So,this morning i headed back to Boots to see 'my girls'.
Couldnt wear either of the test foundations as i used them both fully last night, but found that the Stay Perfect Warm Ivory suited best, the Cool Rose being a bit to deep in colour.
I found one of 'my girls' Angie, who was just as good again,i told her i used all the foundation but found one that i thought suited,i said 'the Trannie winner is.........Warm Ivory'.After she stopped laughing she aggreed with me.
Off to the display we go,and, yep you all guessed it......none on display or in the store draw below, just my luck i said.No worries,i WILL find it was the reply, and she did.So i ad my foundation, anyhting else i can help you with? i was asked.Well yea if you dont mind,i could do with a new lippy and nail varnish. So,off we went, and after a few lippy checks,we both agreed that the Lip Stain in Ballet was for me,and we then selected nail varnish to match.
As i spent over £27 i also got a 'free gift' yippee! it was a No7 Ballerina Beauty Purse with day cream,a small mascara,a lippy and a small eyeshadow.
As i was leaving the shop with my head held high,i asked for 'my girls' names,Angie and Sara.Angie asked why,and i told her i want to contact the shop manager to say how well i got treated. She said if you phone this number, head office, they will take the information and pass it to the manager, ahd she had a smile from ear to ear when i said that.
Home now,and have made tha call, the lady on the phone asked whay they were so good,so i told her,im Transvestite etc,etc and could hear her typing the statement.I did say i do hope this goes to the store manager,Oh yes,i can promise you it will be there word for word so he can read it.
She took a contact number,as the manager might like to get in touch.
So,a very happy Katrina has also hopefully made two wonderful shop assistants happy as well.
Girls,if you feel you want to have this treatment, you CAN do it.Even if one girl goes ahead and does it,i would feel all my story has helped.
