OK, with posts today from Nikki West and this evening another from Becky Foggarty, her’s a wee blog on the benefits of reading a persons profile before contacting them.
Now, before people start jumping on their high horses and having a hissy fit because they think I am having yet another go at the boys again, rest assured, I’m not.
This blog is aimed at everyone on this site since I have been contacted, like the two girls I have previously mentioned by guys who either have have dick pics on their profiles or have empty or faceless profiles, as well as “girls” who have likewise.
Now, if you actually bother to read my profile you will see lines such as ;
“Sorry guys, and now it would appear I have to add "Girls" to the list, but it took me long enough to get shot of the unsightly growth I had so take it as read that yours doesn't really interest me”. As well as ;
“Also, I am out and open about who I am and what I do, and if you send me a friend request I have every right to reject it, which will happen if you do not have a full face photograph on your profile or you are a headless customer of the Sleepy Hollow Photographic Studio, or have a gallery of pics of your pathetic cock, so don't go sending any further requests because they will just suffer the same fate.”
However, despite this, I still get messages such as those received by Nikki and Becky today as well as friend requests from people with empty faceless profiles or galleries of photographs showing their “bits” or headless photographs.
This is where reading profiles can be very useful in that if you can see what a prospective contact is or isn’t into and so consequently, you can save yourself the embarrassment of a rejection or the possibility of being named and shamed as a troll, or having me/or the other person, message you to tell you why your friend request has been rejected for the umpteenth time as has happened to several of the members on this site, myself included.
People create profiles for a valid reason and that is to inform people of a little about themselves such as, what their interests are, what they are “into” on a personal basis and what they are looking for, or not as the case may be, out of a site such as this.
It is also an opportunity for them to “inform” others of things which they are not interested in and so by reading it you will see that and not cause any offence to the person in question by sending messages that might be deemed to be of an inappropriate manner.
It only takes a few minutes to read a profile and after a member has gone to the trouble of creating one it is nothing short of ill-mannered to not read it and thus consequently to ignore their wishes.
Remember, you only get one chance to create a first impression, your actions will dictate whether that first impression is a positive one or not.
