I'm a bad Person

So, I feel a little bad about myself this morning. It's about something I did last night.

On my way home from work, I stopped in by the local Sainsbury's supermarket.

I found a parking space and was about to pull into it when a chap wandered in front of the car, so I waited till he walked past before making my move to park up.

In the meantime a woman in a sporty little red car came in from the other side, but instead of parking in the space in front of mines, continued through and into the space I was about to move into!

I blasted my horn and indicated that she should move back to where she had come from.

She gave me the finger, grabbed her bag and ran into the shop, leaving me livid and having to find another space further away in the pouring rain.

That's when the bad thing happened.

I located the woman's car, bent down as if I was tying my shoe lace and let the air out of her front tyre.

My rational being that what goes around comes around, and as I felt a sense of injustice, IE: she stole the space I was clearly indicating to and about to move into, I decided to waste some of her time by letting her tyre down.

I know that this makes me sound like I had road rage, and you are probably right, however, I truly believe that if you let people push you around, they will.

This morning, my consience is  little mixed up. I feel bad that I did this, yet I also have a feeling that the woman on returning to her car, will have had a lesson taught.

Have any of you done something that you are ashamed of in the cold light of day?

  • Pauline Smith Brings to mind the movie Fried Green Tomatoes...where a mature lady in a Cadillac has her space stolen by two young attractive women...so she just drives into their VW beetle and smashes it out of the way. The comments are something like, 2 attractive...  more

  • Peter Oram Nothing wrong with what you did - she deserved it. But to really teach her a lesson, you should have let two tyres down.
