Last Fri June 28th I marched in the trans march an outlaw event at the Toronto Pride weekend. The parade closed down the main Street of North America's 4th largest city for several hours with the co-operation of the Police and City Counsel. I have seen claims that it was the largest trans march anywhere ever, I don't know. But it took us about 2 1/2 hours to march the route and I wasn't at the end of the pack.
The main pride parade on Sun was also very large and took a longer rou0et and drew an audience of over 1,000,000 people, as usual so no one holds competing events.
The 3 days I spent not just at the street fair on Church St. but at the Eatons Center Mall, the stores and resteurants on Young ST and getting a bra fitting on Bloor were just wonderful walking around dressed as the old girl I am and not having a care.
Hope to see you all there next year at WORLD PRIDE 2014 Toronto Canada.
hugs rita
