Coming out to work - The Final Countdown

  Wednesday 21th May 2014

  So a few things have happened this week. First off the CEO asked if I would like to take next week off work and start on the 2nd June...holiday is booked, time for shopping, getting ears pierced and all those other fun things

  I had a chat with my boss and he asked if I would mind him telling all of the development teams himself, not just my team. I was really pleased, I know he'll do an amazing job of it, he knows how to warm an audience up. He also said that his boss wants a meeting, before I go on leave, with all of the team managers and myself to cover off any questions that their teams may ask. Included in the list were two managers that didn't know, so I insisted on telling them first, today, to give them some time to prepare. Both of them were really nice, and accepting and also admitted that they had worked with TS people before.

  So, the plan is now for the entire company to be told on Wednesday 28th May. My boss will call me as soon as he's done his part. Everyone will be given my personal email address, so I expect I'll be bombarded, hopefully all good, but who knows, I'm a big girl, I can cope.

  My next blog will probably be on 2nd June.
