Great Day Out

Today my wife and I had a great day up in London. We started by having breakfast at Butcher's in Leadenhall Market (they make thier own sausages and the sausage butties were great). Then on to House of Fraser just round the corner for both of us to have our nails done (I go there regularly), my wife went first so her nails would be dry be the time we left. Then onto the the V&A to the Wedding Dress exhibition. It has great to see the changes in fashion of that special day. OK as I was in drab I was out-numbered 30 to 1 but looking at the design and fashion was just wonderful. The one advantage I have is being 6' so when the women pushed in front I could still see over them! From there we went to Hamley's to get a small Steiff bear for our latest grandson.(We have decided he will get it on 25th June - 6 months early or 10 weeks late). The last place we visited was Burger & Lobster for a late lunch or early dinner. Then home both of us very pleased with the day.

Not quite over as my wife is baby sitting the older two grandchildren while thier Mum and Dad visit the school the oldest starts in Spetember. Once that's over we will watch Andy Murray's match before bed.

    What a great day
