Most bra manufacturers recommend using the loosest hook and eye fastening to start with and then moving in as the elastic (lycra) starts to loose its elasticity. As to band size I have seen that some makers recommend measuring just under your armpits and above the bust - that becomes the band size (rather than adding so many inches which is the 1930s method). The one they recommend seems good. For cup sizes for us special girls it depends on how big the breast forms that we are using as to which cup size is the right one. Never forget that a 40 B cup is a C cup in a 38 band size. As with women's clothes and shoes there are no standard sizes within one country - never mind between countries. P xxx
