  The Village Clean Up

  This is just a bit of an update as to what a few of us got up to on Saturday in Sackville Gardens.

  We gave up  a few hours of our spare time and cleaned up a bit around the village, Canal Street, and the immediate area around.

  Ok, it's not the best and most glamorous thing to do, but every little helps so to speak.

  A huge Thank you to "Frank" he had a nice tan and also provided a rather nice sausage ! :O and bacon of course with a nice brown roll ! - you lot have a real dirty mind! Oh and don't forget the round of drinks he paid on for us at Velvet later in the evening, cheers Frank!

  I'm not the most articulate person around, but doing what i have i done this weekend, i did because i can use my hands, getting hold of a spade, brush and garden rake.

  What i'm trying to say is that each and everyone of us can make a difference, you don't have to have the mind set of an high flying executive, just be like me with a run of the mill job, willing to give up a little spare time to give a little back - that's all!
