Well for anyone who has never been to a pride , you really dont know what your missing . This year Exeter pride was the first one and being only 15 miles away i just had to go. We all meet up before the parade and chatted for a bit , then off for the nice walk down the main st of the city . Its always nice to see so many people stopping and waving and surporting such an event . I have no idea how many guys girls and t girls were out that day but it was a lot . There was about 6 of us t girls walking in the parade so we all chatted and waved stop for pictures and had a lot of fun on the way down the street . At the end of the parade we went to the phonix center , where there was variouse side stalls and music being played oh and coffee and foos for sale . Lunch was had by all of us girls then more chat and off to see what workshops were going on. The only down side to the day was the burlesque workshop was cancled . Shame that sounded fun . So we went to transgender workshop instead quit informative and enjoyable .

The afternoon passed very fast and before we knew it we had to get the bus back to the car park and head off , this meant we missed the evenings live music and dj sets as well but you cant do it all . The day didnt stop there we headed back to Torquay for a night at the local pub and club. Lots of people came back from the pride event to the club so it was a great night out as well . So thats the first pride of the year done .

What can i say but go to your nearest pride and have a great time people really dont care if your a tv or not its just so much fun and a must for all of us . Be out be proud and surport pride it helps us move forward and helps people understand were are what we are and not some kind of side show . Hope to see some of you at other pride events later this year i know il be going to as many as i can .
