Well, as it's my birthday I have taken the day off work for a bit of me time.
I had a walk in to town with the aim to buy some make-up for the very first time. Now I've often popped in to Boots for my wife when I have had a list of what she wants as I am often in town more than she is.
But this time I had no list and I was very nervous.. I walked in to Boots and went straight to the No.7 counter and there was the usual woman that gathers the stuff for me. I told her that I was after the following for my wife but having no list I wasnt sure what was what. Thats when she said 'Is it for you?'
Well my heart sank, I paniced and automatically said 'Yes' She said not to worry or panic and helped me with everything I would need. It was an earth shattering moment but she was lovely, really pleasant, calming and discreet.
I came away with some foundation picked for my natural skin tone, mascara, eyeliner, eye shaddow, lipstick, eyebrow kit, eyelash curlers, nail varnish x 2, lip gloss, set of brushes and some make-up removing wipes. And I was parted with just under £100 of stuff but came away with a free gift box.
Now I just have to watch a few tutorials on YouTube and I'll be wearing it.
