This week I have had the chance to slow my world down a bit and re center myself from the craziness life has to offer,in doing this I think and I've written about a few of the struggles we share being transgender.I have put that on the back burner for a moment...
This completely pales in comparison to the violence around the world in this age,my gender had nothing to do with the recent attacks in Brussels and in no way is it more important.I understand what all sides are fighting for,But I'm not sure why we have to fight to kill.
Maybe I'm nieve to believe that peace can win if we all just come together and sort out our differences but unfortunately to do so we have to see worse to get better, wether it be Brussels,Italy,The United States,London..it doesn't matter.we need to come together as a collective force and demand peace before it's too late and we are enslaved by hate.
My heart is heavy to all who have to deal with the violence they didn't create and are fighting wars they didn't start.the collective mindset in the past was gentler and when people tell me that doesn't exist I just simply don't agree as I lived a better time.and know the way back.
If anyone here is directly effected by the recent violence my heart is heavy and goes out to you.one person can make a difference many can and will change the world.
May peace be with you all
