  Oh look, those are my pretty fingers and lovely painted nails holding that phone.  Well actually they're not.  Just some wishful thinking on my part there. 
  
  Just a few lines to let you all know about our progress over the last little while and what's in store in the coming months.  It's been a pretty rough ride over the last year or so, as we tackled a multitude of software bugs, updated old software and installed new features to make Transtastic better than ever.

  We think we have fixed the majority of the bugs now, although there are still a few which remain to be zapped.  We have also culled the membership from nearly 20,000 to a little under 6000.  We removed everyone who has not visited Transtastic in more than six months because we need active members here, not dormant accounts like they have on other membership sites.  Culled members can still come back though.  Their accounts are currently in a kind of Limbo area, waiting to be deleted permanently.  So if you know anyone who has not visited recently, please ask them to come back and recover their account while they can.
  
  About a month back we added a new Dating feature which has proved to be both popular with those who like dating and very unpopular with those who don't.  However, it's easy to opt out if you don't want to be involved.  Just click on Dating in the main menu and then, on the main dating page, click the Dating Settings link.  On the settings page just uncheck the box next to 'Include your profile in Dating search results' then click the Save button and you will no longer be included.  Simples!
  
  Going forward, there are many more improvements and new features on the cards.  If you'd like to help with the site and the community we'd love to hear from you.
