    Some say the films we like best say a lot about us. Recently, I was asked to devise a list of my 'all time' top ten. In the final analysis it was easy, but getting there involved being ruthless in selection. Anyway, in order of when first saw them, going right back to childhood, here's mine:

    1) Jason and The Argonauts
    2) King Kong
    3) The Time Machine
    4) Star Wars
    5) Grease
    6) Poltergeist
    7) Altered States
    8) Pulp Fiction
    9) Telstar: The Joe Meek Story
    10) Hedwig and the Angry Inch

    The long awaited 'The Hobbit', plus 'Trainspotting' didn't make it to the list, along with a number of others, including all the other Star Wars efforts. Tonight I'm going to see the new Star Wars film though, so the list could change. What's your list?
