Yeah it's nearly Chrimbo, but the last 6 weeks have been better !
Ok, so strap in and buckle up6 weeks post op, and i have my review with the surgeon tomorrow. Why? Because going to Brighton from between Edinburgh and Glasgow for 15 minutes is insane. I just hope he doesnt notice my fatiguehe might then ask why
I managed to get my cute and curvy to Leeds for the first friday gathering, and even managed a lil boogie at one point. A VERY good friend was there and slightly ill, so i ended up sitting with her, poor wee scone.
Apart from that, i keep getting told to rest. Erm,,,,, yeah riiiiight. I have itchy feet even when i sleep !!
I have been inventing things to do to try to feel busy while 'resting'. Its really starting to get to the point where i am thinking of re-doing the kitchenI have cleaned and polished everything, i even stripped the fryer so i could clean that,,,, down to the electrics
I always said, have a plan for after surgery, but mine is longer reaching. I had very little planned for recovery.
I guess that will teach me. Plan for next year and the year after? Hey plan for next month and save ya hair lolol
I planned for the two day trip home after surgery. I planned to release my album, so i could do promo while i was in hospital. I planned to record another album after recovery. But i wrote 20 tracks, and then had nothing to do.....
If ANY of you are going down this path, the transport home is important, the long term goals are important,,, but so is the recovery period too. Make those plans, make sure you have the bases covered, trust me,,,,,,,,,,, i am plucking leg hairs individually for something to do (rofpmsl)
but hey, remember this, if your dreams don't scare you, , , , they are not big enough !!
Merry Christmas, happy hogmanay, and may all your dreams come true
